CLASS CHALET 07!

day 1:
very few people at first. victor yucong geks stacy and i. we went to ESCAPE to escape from the boredom since there was nothing much to do at the chalet with only 5 people. turned out that there was nothing much to do at escape too. all the rides were quite sian, except for go-kart. that was the only fun ride, even though i drove slowly. jan came halfway when yucong wanted to grab a bite and we thought of a clever plan to sneak her into escape! heehee! but i won't tell you how. i think we started playing more stuff after jan arrived, like going on go-kart and the inverter again, flippy, haunted house, the cheap thrill mini-rollercoaster, etc. i also had a really wet experience at the super long slide. (i think it's called wet 'n' wild?) the rest didn't want to get wet so only victor and i went on it. actually halfway i wanted to chicken out and climb out of the boat haha! but in the end the ride was o-kayy lah. didn't feel like i was falling off. still, we got really wet! :/ had dinner at the food court after that. poor geks felt unwell. actually the rest of us were also feeling either queasy or dizzy. a day at escape can make you rather tired physically.

we got back to the chalet in time for the 9 oclock show haha! but that episode was super draggy and boring; didn't get to see a second of thomas ong at all lah. that night meiyi, linxi, zhenggang, ernest, samuel and weizhong came. i can't remember the order of arrival now. but zhenggang and linxi arrived very smoothly without much help. stace, jan and i fetched meiyi from downtown east and on the way there, met a group of drunk youngsters in the chalet asking us to drink. the girl sounded like some ah-lian lah. we just ignored her but she just became even more hostile. we knew if we were to walk back by the same way we'd surely get into trouble, so we avoided that way. ernest and samuel totally arrived like some terrorists; they banged the door and plastered their faces to the door, demanding us to open the door. as if their faces weren't retarded enough, they wore their towels around their heads. some weird trend that squashers have. we relented and opened the door to them and immediately, the house became damn noisy. linxi zhenggang and ernest soon went out to have supper and cycle till the wee hours. poor weizhong was in school till really late. i had my phone beside me but i fell asleep and didn't wake up till around 3am. then i checked my phone and thought that weizhong was stuck somewhere in the chalet cause his most recent reply was to ask about the house number. i was really horrified and asked him where he was. i think jan and stace woke up then. i told them about weizhong being stuck somewhere in the chalet and they seemed confused. they said, "weizhong? weizhong's upstairs what." but it didn't sink in. then weizhong and samuel came down from the stairs and i was really surprised to see weizhong. but i should have known weizhong isn't dumb enough to be stuck somewhere in the chalet. heard that they let him in when i was sleeping. wahhh how come i slept like a log that i didn't even realise?!

since we were quite awake by then, we chatted for quite a while. or rather, someone would just speak a sentence, then it would be followed by a few moments of silence/stoning, then someone would speak again. at some points i just pretended i was sleeping lah HAHA. (inside joke) then weizhong went upstairs to sleep as he had to go to school for lessons in the morning. samuel went up to check on him after a while and he was scared of what he saw (or rather, what he didn't see) so he called me. when i looked into the bedroom, there was no one on the bed!!! wahlao damn scary lah. and weizhong isn't that kind who will hide in the closet to scare you. we wondered how he had disappeared into thin air. then suddenly this figure rose from behind the two beds and we both got a shock! turned out that he was sleeping on the ground to make himself uncomfortable so that he wouldn't oversleep. -_- but we persuaded him to sleep on the bed and set alarm. sometimes weizhong can be so rational that he becomes illogical. well, that's weizhong for you.

meiyi was really hungry and couldn't wait for the 1 hour delivery that macs was going to take, so she walked to downtown east macs alone, which to me was rather dangerous. luckily she arrived there before the rain turned heavy and also managed to return safely. the remaining 4 of us, in the meantime, played cluedo. the interesting thing was that we were all wearing the same colour shirts as our characters: samuel as ms scarlet, jan as mrs peacock, stace as mrs white and i as colonel mustard. then we also played fortune-telling. actually it was more for samuel and jan. stace dealt out the cards. for samuel it was totally accurate. for jan, even without her saying who, i already know who the cards were for. HAHA. and i didn't want to play so i fell asleep. again. -_-

day 2:
had breakfast at macs. was stoning at first, then we started talking about the night. samuel made some good jokes huh. went back to chalet. played cluedo, this time with 6 players, so it became even more difficult. everyone became trickier, even newbies like ernest. from the start i already knew i was the murderer lah, but everyone was so concerned with the murder weapon. hahahaha CANDLESHOP! and ernest, being so tricky, made everyone cross out wrong weapons! haha. in the end everyone became damn sian and kept sabotaging other people who had at least a clue what's going on by purposely calling them into the rooms that were already eliminated. i want to thank mrs peacock for dragging me into the dining room when i was just one more turn away from reaching the billard room lah. so we just ended the game by making everyone guess... and victor got it right! we didn't want another round of that anymore so we just slacked around. weiren and eugene soon arrived. jan and stace wanted to have a k-session upstairs by using meiyi's laptop. so the girls migrated upstairs and locked ernest and samuel out. at first they just kept banging on the door, but soon they grew tired and had their own singing session downstairs. actually, it was more like a screaming session. they screamed songs like way back into love, you're beautiful and wake me up when september ends. i didn't know whether it was more entertaining or disturbing. haha should have recorded their noise down. we let weiren and eugene in, and after quite long, the terrorists downstairs declared a war. they demanded that we open the door or they would plant a bomb. the way weiren negotiated was really amusing. he was too much of a gentleman to even negotiate lah. he was like, "ernest, what do you want?" but he sounded more like a mother haha. whereas the girls were just like, "get lost lah!" haha see the difference? of course we didn't believe them, but they did unlock the room and started throwing balls at us. our arrows didn't work at all, unfortunately. had a pillow fight: jan stace and i vs samuel and ernest. the rest chickened out and left the room to avoid being hurt. stace soon left us after our first win. but jan and i, as loyal members of our territory, continued to fight on. the terrorists demanded more rounds. so fine lah, who scared who. we lost the other 2 matches, but gracefully! we had put up a great fight, jan! but on the other hand, samuel kang, an able-bodied young man, was whacked many times by me. all our pillows were stolen by ernest instead. haha lousy! after our 3 rounds of pillow fights, we suffered injuries and finger cramps from grabbing the pillows so hard. it was really tiring! the room looked like a battlefield after we left to rest.

weiren eugene samuel stacy meiyi and i went out for lunch while jan geks victor and ernest stayed in the chalet. samuel left after lunch for training and ernest too. the rest of us went to play arcade. kellynn met us there. there was my current favourite, photohunt, but the machine was damn lousy; cannot see the entire screen and it was not very sensitive. but we were quite stoned too so we lost very quickly. x( went to play pool after that. after 1 hour, victor geks and jan joined us. nadiah and fizah arrived too. it became more fun with more people around. i think most games are just more fun when played with more people. we also tried teaching aunty jan how to pool! haha. not bad she learnt quite fast.

we rushed back to collect the bbq stuff that we ordered when victor received a call from the caterer. the fire was started by the eugene and the rest of the guys while the girls just went upstairs to play blackjack! xD we changed game. the objective was to get the highest sum of 5 cards. i kept losing so i decided to change the objective. now the one with the lowest sum would be the winner. and sian, i got the highest. -_-

then the fire was ready. zhenggang and weizhong came back. weizhi and samantha also came in the middle of the bbq. there were around 17 of us at the bbq, which was not a bad turnout but there was still too much food for everyone since we ordered for 20+ people! so we stuffed ourselves as much as possible and the rest was finished up by the guys at night as their supper. jan and geks went home, and i thought i had to watch the 9 oclock show alone. but kellynn ernest and even nad and fizah watched with me! nad is considerably a pro at recognising channel 8 artistes! victor came into the house to watch for a while and to criticise thomas ong. -_- the 3 girls soon left and after the show ended i was already lying on the mattress, ready for bedtime. i fell asleep the earliest, expectedly. -_-

day 3:
woke up the first time to find weiren walking around. the second time i woke up again to find weiren standing at the foot of the mattresses, staring at us sleeping. sian, i thought he just couldn't get to sleep, so i refused to get up and covered my head with the blanket. then he said, "it's 7.45 already." which meant that we were way behind schedule, so i had to get up. no one else was up. poor weizhi was sleeping on a chair. i'm really sorry that i didn't realise how difficult it was for most of them to catch some sleep until i read stacy's post. after i washed up, i went upstairs to wake people up, but i saw weiren using his 'eye-power' again! it's really quite funny to see how he tried to wake people up. he didn't even say a thing, he just stared at them sleeping, hoping that they would wake up. HAHA! well it worked on me, but it didn't work on meiyi and eugene. so i had to be the bad guy and nudge those two to wake them up. and even then when weiren finally woke them up verbally, he was so gentle about it. for me i usually would just shout lah haha.

after everyone had washed up, we packed our things, tidied up the place a little and set off for school without having breakfast. it was a really long bus ride, but that was a good thing cause we all got to sleep on the ride. all except weiren. -_- oh well he's just too responsible. i don't get how someone like him can sleep so little.

that's all for class chalet! victor and i concluded that it was not too bad a chalet, although it could have been better. i know we didn't do many things during the 3 days because most of us just felt too sian to do outdoor activities, but i'm just glad most people made the effort at least to come down. it's really the company that counts, and be it just stoning or playing games, i had much fun! :) next year's chalet will be even better! hopefully next year we won't mug till we forget what's fun.
