Yea, with Council Retreat we automatically lose four people (Tan Chen, Janice, Ian, Linxi). To get the Councillors we'll probably need to put our class outing during Council-Oteam blockout, although according to Ian, blockouts don't count for much.

Whatever the case, I think we'll have to put in a bit more work to secure attendance given our clashing schedules during the holidays and that we're no longer meeting each other in school. I have a suggestion! Let's come up with 4 dates in the next two weeks (2 weekday days, 2 weekend days) and call the whole class to check their availability on these dates. And then decide on the date with the highest number of people going. It'll take a bit of work, but this way we can get a bit more people to go, and we can split the work among 4 people so each one is in charge of only 7 people.

Bogglific Tip #1
Three-letter EE words

EE comes up pretty frequently in Boggle, so it's pretty important that you're familiar with the words that can be formed with EE. Let's start with the three-letter EE words.

Front-end hooks
All (consonant)EE words are valid except for HEE KEE QEE XEE YEE. All (vowel)EE words are invalid.

Take note! HEE is a very commonly entered word because it sounds like it is accepted, but actually isn't.

Words in common use: BEE FEE MEE PEE SEE TEE WEE
Words that spell out letter names: CEE DEE GEE JEE VEE ZEE
Surprisingly, these words are also accepted:
LEE
NEE - A term sometimes used in introducing the name of the family to which a married woman belongs by birth
REE - A Portuguese money of account, in value about one tenth of a cent

Back-end hooks
Only EEK (exclamation) EEL EEN (contraction of EVEN) are accepted.
EEU and EEW are not accepted!

Notice that EEL and LEE are both accepted, as are EEN and NEE. Condition yourself to type both the words in each pair. KEE, however, is not accepted.

Pluralisations
All valid EE-containing three-letter words can be pluralised by adding an S except for NEE EEK EEN. Makes a lot of sense if you understand the definitions of the various words. And even though you hear 'eeks' all the time, it's not actually accepted in Bogglific.

kaiqi u bowling ah? why u start the ball rolling. ok not funny.

okay there seems to be great demand for games n outing. so me and kq should be planning one soon... (right kam?)

yea i think the tentative venue for christmas party is fine la. if not also vry difficult to find venues to host also. anw we gotta see the response also rite. if too few people we can just have an outing or something. yea. alternatively we can book another chalet? just a suggestion.

i think class learning journey we should go some place like the zoo to play and have fun then call it a learning journey. hahaha agreed?

hello people. yes it's time to blog since it's the hols and we don't get to see each other everyday. so please blog lah thanks.

i shall start by updating you guys on our probable christmas party on 23/12. i thought of using my house downstairs as the venue. it'll require money to book the bbq pit (around $15) and the multi-purpose room (around $50). being budget-conscious, of course we will try to see if it's possible to just loiter around the bbq pit but not book it so that we won't have to pay at all. but if somebody books the pit for that day then we'll be doomed.

by the way my house is in the west, bukit panjang. and this is only one possible venue, not confirmed.

i think we should start planning for class cip soon.

AND class learning journey (whatever that is).

reply ah. i've already started the ball rolling.
